A parent’s guide to tweens and technology: Know how much they can handle

According to a recent report, teens spend about nine hours a day using media for their enjoyment, and some 13-year-olds check social media 100 times a day. Psychologist Dr. Jennifer Hartstein joins TODAY’s Savannah Guthrie to help parents make sense of it all, saying you should be try to keep up with technology, and know what your tween can handle.
